In this role, you will: Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. Partner closely with product and program leadership teams to ensure technology implementation and delivery are aligned with business goals and timelines. Lead and drive ongoing improvements for platform stability and performance, by addressing technical debt and enhancing operational efficiency. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. 5+ years of experience in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, JPA, Python, Scala REST APIs, and Microservices Architecture. 1+ years of hands-on experience with AI-powered developer tools, including GitHub Copilot and Devin. Desired Qualifications: 5+ years of experience with Angular 16, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX. 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments. Strong knowledge of Junit/TestNG, Selenium frameworks and test automation. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform services. Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture. Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube. Knowledge of Ansible, Shell Scripting, F5, AVI, and infrastructure automation. Experience deploying applications on Tomcat, JBoss, and WebSphere. Strong understanding of MVC architecture, J2EE design patterns, and enterprise application design.
