The Learning Design and Enablement Manager will join the Enterprise Learning & Development team within the People organization to build applied learning experiences that strengthen leadership, professional, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. You’ll translate business needs into practical, scenario-based learning that supports lasting behavior change, scalable enablement, and measurable business impact. Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Learning & Development, this role is remote in the United States and Canada and will help build the capabilities 1Password needs to deliver on its mission. How we’re using AI today On the People team, we’re using AI intentionally and responsibly as part of how our work gets done. We’re building a shared foundation of AI confidence and capability with the belief that innovation happens best when we learn and experiment together. From drafting communications and synthesizing feedback to automating workflows across the employee lifecycle, we’re embedding AI into our day-to-day operations and the way we collaborate cross-functionally, helping us move quickly and create space for the human moments that matter most. This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US. What we're looking for: • 7+ years of experience in instructional design, learning design, or a related learning and development role, with experience translating capability needs into practical learning solutions. • Experience designing scenario-based learning grounded in real business workflows and focused on behavior change rather than one-time knowledge transfer. • Ability to identify patterns across stakeholder needs and create reusable frameworks, content, and learning experiences that can scale across teams. • Experience embedding measurement and evaluation into learning solutions, along with the ability to connect learning outcomes to business impact. • Working knowledge of instructional design methods such as Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE), Design Thinking, backward design, or comparable approaches. • Strong project management, facilitation, communication, and independent decision-making skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous needs into clear solutions and manage multiple priorities. • Experience building workplace AI capability, designing leadership programs across multiple leadership levels, or using emerging learning technologies and AI-enabled tools.
