ABOUT THE ROLE EDGE Technologies is hiring a Logistics Officer for EO MRO We are looking for a skilled professional to manage import/export operations, customs clearance, permits, and shipment coordination, ensuring regulatory compliance and seamless logistics support for EO MRO operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Import & Export Operations Handle all import and export activities related to EO systems, spare parts, tools, and test equipment. Manage temporary imports, repair-and-return shipments, and re-export processes in accordance with approved procedures. Customs & Permits Prepare, review, and process import/export permits, customs declarations, and clearance documentation (primarily in Arabic). Ensure all shipments comply with UAE customs regulations, export control requirements, OEM and company policies. Coordination & Liaison Coordinate with customs authorities, free zones, ports, airports, OEMs, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and relevant government entities. Liaise with internal technical and management teams to support EO MRO operational requirements. Shipment Tracking & Reporting Track shipment status and ensure timely delivery to and from EO MRO facilities. Provide regular shipment status updates and logistics coordination support to management. Documentation & Records Maintain accurate records of permits, customs documentation, shipment files, approvals, and correspondence. Ensure logistics documentation is properly filed and readily available for audits and reviews. Compliance & Support Ensure all logistics activities are executed in compliance with regulatory, quality, and operational requirements. Support day-to-day logistics activities required for uninterrupted EO MRO operations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, customs clearance, or import/export operations. UAE logistics and customs experience preferred. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Fluent Arabic speaking, reading, and writing is mandatory. Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills. Good computer skills for documentation, tracking, and reporting. Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
