Our values, care, courage and curiosity, guide how we work and how we treat each other. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintainer to join our maintenance team at Bell Bay Aluminium. In this role, you will carry out planned and breakdown electrical maintenance across our plant and equipment, helping ensure our assets remain safe, reliable and available. You will work closely with your team to identify and rectify faults, complete preventative maintenance and contribute to improvements in asset reliability and performance. You’ll be responsible for: Performing planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical plant and equipment Identifying, diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults and equipment defects Raising notifications and completing work orders through our maintenance management systems Undertaking electrical isolations, testing and commissioning activities in accordance with site procedures Identifying defects and providing accurate feedback on asset condition, performance and reliability Supporting defect elimination, continuous improvement and asset reliability initiatives Ensuring maintenance activities are completed in accordance with work orders, job instructions and relevant safety requirements Undertaking post-maintenance testing, commissioning and clean-up to safely return equipment to service Working collaboratively with other trades and operational teams to safely minimise equipment downtime What you’ll bring To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and your team An Australian-recognised electrical trade qualification A current Australian A Grade Electrical Licence A valid C Class driver’s licence Experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial, manufacturing, heavy industry or fixed plant environment Demonstrated electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting capability The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving equipment issues Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you’ve helped the world progress.
