Description About the Role We are looking for an experienced digital technology leader to manage the delivery and ongoing support of passenger-facing digital platforms at Hamad International Airport. In this role, you will lead a team of software developers and designers responsible for delivering business-to-consumer web and mobile solutions. You will oversee the full technology lifecycle, from solution development and launch through to ongoing support, performance and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Marketing, Brand, Corporate Communications, Customer Experience and Operations to deliver reliable digital capabilities that support a seamless customer experience. The role also provides an opportunity to introduce AI-enabled software engineering practices and develop solutions used by thousands of passengers every day. Key Responsibilities Lead the development, implementation and ongoing support of passenger-facing web, mobile and digital platforms. Manage a team of software developers and designers, setting clear priorities and ensuring high-quality delivery. Develop and maintain the technology strategy and roadmap for the assigned business area in partnership with key stakeholders. Translate business requirements into practical digital capabilities that improve passenger experience and operational efficiency. Apply Agile ways of working to deliver solutions efficiently and respond effectively to changing business priorities. Introduce and support AI-enabled software engineering practices to improve development speed, quality and innovation. Take end-to-end ownership of digital solutions covering development, launch, integration, support, maintenance and continuous improvement. Ensure the availability and operational performance of business-critical digital platforms within a 24/7 airport environment. Lead the response to major system incidents and coordinate the timely restoration of affected services. Manage technology programmes and projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, cost and quality standards. Manage technology vendors, hosted services, service contracts and service-level commitments. Establish effective programme governance through clear planning, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement. Ensure projects and systems comply with applicable IT governance, information security and data-protection requirements. Develop business cases, cost estimates, budgets and technology investment priorities for assigned programmes and projects. Build effective relationships across business and technology teams to support decision-making and successful delivery. Develop team capability through clear direction, coaching, collaboration and knowledge sharing. About You You are an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software development management, digital product delivery and enterprise application support. You can lead technical teams while working effectively with business stakeholders to turn requirements into reliable, customer-focused digital solutions. You are comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where business-critical platforms require continuous support. You bring an innovative mindset, strong problem-solving ability and the confidence to challenge existing ways of working. You should be able to demonstrate: Strong experience managing software development, implementation and application support. Experience leading teams of software developers, designers or other digital delivery professionals. Experience delivering and operating business-to-consumer digital products or platforms. Strong understanding of web and mobile application development. Knowledge of AI-enabled software engineering and its practical use in digital solution delivery. Experience applying Agile ways of working within technology delivery environments. Successful delivery of large technology programmes or work programmes.
