Job Description Imagine an Engineering Management System that connects governance, processes, standards, performance and knowledge into a coherent way of working that helps engineering teams deliver consistently. Then help us develop what that system becomes next. About the role As our Manager, Engineering Management System Development, you will help develop and continuously improve the Engineering Management System across Engineering & Workplace. You will translate the direction and priorities of the Engineering Delivery System into practical processes, standards, methods, guidance and knowledge structures that support consistent engineering delivery. Working closely with the Management System Lead, you will help shape how the system is structured, governed and improved. You will partner with process owners, Engineering leaders, Area Partners and subject-matter experts to clarify ownership, strengthen interfaces and ensure the system remains coherent, practical and relevant to the teams using it. This role focuses on developing the management system itself. You will work alongside the Management System Lead Professional, who brings specialist digital-management-system capability across knowledge solutions, document governance, workflows, platforms, automation and usability. Required Qualifications Experience developing or improving management systems, quality systems, operating models, business processes or governance frameworks. Built or improved processes, standards, methods, templates or supporting guidance that enable consistent ways of working. Translated complex stakeholder and business requirements into practical management-system solutions. Applied process management, standardisation and continuous-improvement principles in a professional environment. Worked across functions and influenced leaders, process owners and specialists without relying on formal authority. Structured complex information and communicated it clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Used digital management systems, knowledge platforms, workflow solutions, analytics or reporting to support business processes. Demonstrated strong facilitation, planning, communication and disciplined follow-through. Preferred Qualifications Experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical product undefined Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI or comparable platforms. Applied AI-enabled productivity, automation or knowledge-management solutions in a governed environment. Knowledge of ISO-based management systems, document control, audit or compliance environments. Experience supporting enterprise transformation, operating-model development or cross-functional process implementation. A relevant degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Information Management, Digital Technologies or a related discipline. Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered. What you'll build Develop and improve Engineering Management System components within the agreed EMS roadmap. Translate Engineering Delivery System priorities and user needs into practical processes, standards, methods, templates and guidance. Help develop a coherent EMS architecture that connects governance, engineering processes, performance management, capability and knowledge. Coordinate process and standard development with owners, clarify interfaces and reduce duplication. Strengthen ownership models and lifecycle management for EMS content and undefined Develop information and knowledge structures that make EMS content easier to find, understand and apply. Define business and user requirements for workflows, reporting, analytics, automation and other digital solutions. Create feedback, adoption and maturity measures that show whether changes are improving the system in practice.
