Manager Investment Reporting & Analysis Do work that matters Join the Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team and help shape the financial future of CommBank. The purpose of the role is to lead key aspects of the Group’s investment reporting, analysis and governance agenda. You’ll provide insights that support investment allocation and prioritisation, oversee key governance processes, and deliver high-quality reporting and analysis to inform senior executive decision making. The role will also support external investment due diligence and drive continuous improvement across investment reporting and governance processes. See yourself in our team The Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team provides financial support and strategic insight to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team and Board. The team is responsible for: Investment Reporting & Analysis - oversight of the Group's investment portfolio and capital allocation Planning and forecasting – ownership of the Group’s Planning & Forecasting process, strategic and ad-hoc analysis Performance reporting – performance analysis and monthly management reporting Decision support - strategic projects, commercial analysis and insight development This opportunity sits within the Investment Reporting & Analysis team, with a focus on delivering the Group’s investment financial reporting, analysis and insights. Your impact Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will play a key role in delivering the Group’s investment reporting, analysis and governance agenda, providing insights and partnering with stakeholders to support effective investment decision-making. In this role, you will: Deliver Group-wide investment spend reporting and analysis, providing clear insights into investment performance, outlook and key drivers. Manage key investment governance processes, working across the Group to align investment demand, funding priorities and delivery capacity. Partner with Finance, Strategy and Business Unit stakeholders to support the allocation and prioritisation of the Group’s ~$2.4bn investment portfolio. Prepare investment reporting and analysis for inclusion in the Group's half-year and full-year Profit Announcements Partner with stakeholders to provide commercial insights, challenge assumptions and influence investment decisions to drive better business outcomes. Support external investment due diligence, including financial and commercial analysis, assessment of strategic alignment, returns, key assumptions and risks. Manage financial tracking and reporting of cost productivity initiatives and AI use cases ensuring benefits are appropriately quantified and monitored. Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across investment reporting, governance and analytical processes. Drive multiple deliverables across competing priorities, proactively coordinating stakeholders and dependencies to deliver high-quality outcomes. Demonstrate sound judgement and accountability while upholding the Group’s Code of Conduct and risk management expectations. We're interested in hearing from people who have CA or CPA qualifications Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations Sound commercial judgement and a curious, questioning mindset, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across Finance and Business teams Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement A proactive, ownership mindset and a track record of driving outcomes independently Advanced Excel skills Experience with Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI would be advantageous but isn't essential. This is an outstanding opportunity to gain exposure to Group-wide investment governance and reporting, build relationships with senior leaders across Finance and influence
