## Description

Manager, Middle Market Commercial Bank Relationship Manager We are currently seeking a Manager, Relationship Manager (RM) with Middle Market Commercial Banking expertise to join the firm’s Middle Market Commercial Banking Group. This position focuses on managing an assigned portfolio of client relationships while also partnering closely with Senior Relationship Managers to support overall portfolio management and prospecting efforts. A candidate in this role will act as a primary point of contact for their clients, introducing them to the bank's financial products and services and ensuring that the bank meets all of their operational and servicing needs. This candidate will work independently and in collaboration with internal teams to deliver customized solutions, drive business growth, and execute targeted prospecting and acquisition initiatives. Responsibilities: Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of commercial client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact. Partner with and support Senior Relationship Managers in ongoing portfolio management, annual reviews, credit monitoring, and daily client servicing. Assist Senior Relationship Managers in prospecting efforts, pipeline generation, and pitching new commercial banking opportunities. Originate and pursue new business opportunities, acquiring new clients for the bank. Deliver a broad range of financial solutions, including credit, treasury management, deposit, and related banking services. Work closely with internal teams and product specialists to deliver integrated solutions to clients. Assess and mitigate financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks associated with client relationships. Establish a strong brand presence through industry networking and community involvement. Adhere to the strong Capital One culture and values and represent the firm with integrity in all situations. Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial, legal, operational, and reputational risks associated with commercial banking. Develop a strong professional network through active community engagement. Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of fostering deep relationships with key decision-makers and developing new client relationships. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience At least 3 years of experience with commercial credit and treasury management solutions Preferred Qualifications: Strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting Completion of a formal credit training program Advanced knowledge of industry, market, and banking products Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (e.g. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-3, and O-1, or any other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer). The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Baton Rouge, LA: $138,100 - $157,700 for MMB Relationship Manager II Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
