Job Summary: Paidy is seeking a Manager, Risk Management. This role sits within PayPal’s Global Credit & Fraud Strategy and Governance organization and provides governance and control oversight across strategies supporting Paidy and PayPal’s lending products. The role partners with Strategy, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and SLOD to lead new and revised strategies through governance review and approval, ensuring key risks, controls, and mitigation plans are assessed and documented. It supports post-implementation monitoring and maintains strategy governance policies and procedures. The role also supports model governance by taking new models and material model changes through required reviews and approvals, coordinating with Model Development, Legal, Compliance, and Model Risk Management. It supports ongoing model monitoring, identifies performance deterioration or emerging risks, and coordinates remediation or escalation. The role also supports audit, regulatory, and partner governance requests. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Identify issues and recommend best practices for risk management within the organization. Lead functional projects and programs that enhance risk assessment and mitigation efforts. Collaborate with teams to analyze business trends and their implications for risk management. Contribute to process improvements that enhance the effectiveness of risk management strategies. Provide guidance and support to team members in executing risk management initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
