This is a Hybrid (Bangalore) role, reporting to the VP, Site Reliability Engineering in the Engineering department. In this role, you will lead a team of Production Engineers responsible for the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of our global platform. You will provide the technical leadership and execution rigor to drive an automation-first and reliability-focused engineering culture. By maturing observability, operational readiness, and architectural standards, you will help reduce Mean Time to Mitigate (MTTM) and improve the resilience of a globally distributed, multi-cloud infrastructure protecting millions of users. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Lead and grow a team of Production Engineers responsible for the reliability, availability, and scalability of large-scale production services Drive an automation-first culture by guiding the team to eliminate manual toil, improve workflows, and build resilient, self-healing tools and systems Implement and mature observability practices, including monitoring, alerting, SLIs/SLOs, and error budgets to improve service health and operational decision-making Lead high-severity incident response, strengthen response playbooks, and drive deep post-incident reviews that result in durable engineering improvements Partner with Engineering and cross-functional teams to conduct operability reviews and influence architecture and service design for scale, resilience, and maintainability Who You Are (Success Profile) Acts as an owner with an authentic passion for operational excellence and a strong bias for action, navigating seamlessly between high-level strategy and tactical execution.
