Job Description: As a Software Engineering Manager of the AI Platform, you will lead and empower a team of software engineers responsible for developing the AI Platform services, tools, and infrastructure. This role combines strong technical leadership with people management, ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative AI platform capabilities while fostering a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager with strong expertise in Python , modern cloud-native architectures , and a proven track record leading high-performing engineering teams. This role involves driving technical strategy, mentoring engineers, managing delivery commitments, and partnering closely with Product, Architecture, and AI Platform teams to build scalable and secure solutions leveraging state-of-the-art AI technologies. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth. Drive the design, development, and maintenance of robust back-end services and APIs using Python . Define and execute the technical roadmap for AI Platform services in alignment with business objectives. Architect and oversee the implementation of scalable solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure. Ensure the successful deployment and operation of containerized applications using Kubernetes . Establish and promote engineering best practices related to software development, security, reliability, and operational excellence. Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high-impact initiatives. Oversee software delivery processes, resource planning, and execution to ensure predictable and high-quality outcomes. Drive code quality standards through code reviews, technical guidance, and engineering governance. Foster innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI capabilities that can enhance the platform. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Strong proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices. Advanced English. Proven experience leading and managing software engineering teams. Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, etc.). Solid knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native application development. Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance, and reliability principles. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to lead teams in fast-paced environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI agents or frameworks such as Microsoft Copilot , Claude Code , or other AI-assisted development tools. Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and Generative AI technologies. Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems. Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments. Experience leading distributed or globally dispersed engineering teams.
