Position Summary As a member of the Manufacturing Operations shift team, the employee is directly responsible for managing a team of 5 to 15 manufacturing specialists and technicians that maintain the flow of production through sections of the line, during their shift, while achieving world class speed and quality. Duties of a Manufacturing Supervisor include but are not limited to people-management and all the ensuing duties that encompass it, troubleshooting advanced production issues through the use of a computer; making decisions based on best known methods or operating procedures; tracking, documenting, and communicating production roadblocks; and working as a team with outside departments to improve manufacturing performance. Position is C shift (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and alternating Wednesdays, 7am-7pm). Role and Responsibilities Here's What You'll Be Responsible For: Effective Communication, Ability to analyze data, identifies issues, and provides solutions to closure. Ability to influence up, down, and across the organization to create change Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills; recognize 3rd & 4th order effects of a catalyst event Effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Must be able to coordinate and communicate technical information to and from all levels of the organization. A history of “hands-on” approach to problem solving and countermeasure implementation within own areas of responsibility Proactive and self-driven approach to overcome challenges and achieve results Basic knowledge of relevant programming languages: Visual Basic (Excel), Oracle, Secs, PL/SQL, SQL. Basic data analysis skills; analyzing & interpreting data. Experience in manufacturing sciences (Theory of Constraints, Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Planning, and Flow Optimization) Skills and Qualifications Here's What You'll Need: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Team Leadership Interpersonal Skills Social Intelligence Conflict Management Influencing Skills Project management Structured Problem Solving Supervisory Responsibility This position will require supervision of 4-15 direct reports. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field is required 2-year minimum experience with demonstrated success in inventory analysis, production control, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, six sigma, or project management undefined Preferred Education and Experience Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred 5 years prior management/supervisory experience preferred The current base salary range for this role is between $90,000 - $151,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
