Leadership and management of multidisciplinary work teams in the role of Mechanical Discipline Lead and as part of owner´s team. Technical owner’s engineering oversight for engineering and construction contracts. Direct client engagement, including reporting management results, proposing corrective and improvement actions, and participating in decision-making processes. Interdisciplinary coordination and interface management. Provision of technical leadership as the client’s representative in dealings with engineering and construction contractors. Conducting critical reviews and technical assessments of engineering documentation and designs prepared by suppliers and contractors. Interdisciplinary coordination. Review of vendor engineering documentation, applying critical analysis with a focus on operational efficiency and maintainability. Ensure that all designs comply with the codes and standards applicable to the project. Ensure that designs meet the client’s technical specifications and engineering best practices. Ensure compliance with the quality procedure for reviewing project engineering deliverables. Promote the responsible and efficient use of assets assigned by the organization (tools, materials, equipment, and information) for the execution of assigned duties. Attend internal discipline meetings with the project team and the client. Attend site visits, meetings, and field workshops as required by the discipline. Discipline Lead (engineering project and/or as part of client team). Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent Mechanical Civil Engineering degree). Minimum of 15 years of experience in the development of engineering projects related to the mining industry. Experience in mining cooper projects. Professional judgment in the design of practical and cost-effective solutions. Ability to solve complex problems requiring the application of research data within own discipline and related disciplines. Valid authorization to work in Chile. Minimum English proficiency level: B2. Strong professional attitude, commitment, teamwork skills, and excellent interpersonal relationships. ¿Qué te hace extraordinario?
