Your day to day As a SQL Server Database Admin, you will be responsible for ensuring that BMG's database platforms are secure, reliable, performant, resilient and efficiently operated throughout their lifecycle . You will combine hands-on database expertise with automation, engineering practices and close collaboration with development and infrastructure teams to keep our critical data services stable today while continuously improving how we operate them. Database Engineering & Lifecycle Management Own SQL Server environments end to end , covering installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting and lifecycle management. Ensure database reliability and performance through proactive monitoring, capacity management, query optimisation and performance tuning. Manage database changes safely , ensuring schema, configuration and release changes are controlled, traceable and repeatable. Provide database expertise to engineering teams , supporting SQL design, performance, deployments and resolution of complex production issues. Production Ownership ("You Build It, You Run It") Take ownership of services throughout their entire lifecycle, from development to production operations. Monitor
