Purpose of the role As we ramp up production of our quantum chips, catching defects early is critical to scaling our yield. Join our nanofabrication team for a 5–6 month internship where you’ll get hands-on with our Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) software — refining the pipelines that detect defects on real wafers, and helping prepare our process for the move to 4-inch wafer fabrication. You’ll work at the intersection of software and cleanroom process, with direct visibility into how your work shapes fab productivity. This internship will start in January 2027 !
