Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Screening of all blocked inbound and outbound messages held by Sanction Screening platform against sanctioned regulatory lists. Releasing of false positives on a timely basis and ability to prioritize time sensitive transactions during APAC hours. Analyse flagged transactions prior to releasing or rejecting real time or hold for further investigation by utilising various internal and external systems in accordance with internal procedures. Gather additional information, review supporting documentation and analyse data to assess the legitimacy of the transaction Escalate potential matches to Sanction Screening Governance team for their review when necessary Investigate payments messages that have issues within the payment process and ensure all investigation are monitored, follow up and resolved. Provide first point of contact support for email and/or SWIFT correspondence and ensure all queries from both internal and external clients are acted upon in a timely and professional manner Support the timely and accurate completion of business processes and procedures according to Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements. Staying abreast on industry regulations, best practices and emerging trends related to sanction screening Proactively identify trends and patterns to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of monitoring activities Report /escalate risk issues or process gaps identified Assist in UAT, BCP testing and other ad-hoc projects Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in sanction screening Strong understanding of SWIFT Solid knowledge of payments and SWIFT Knowledge of international sanctions and compliance policies would be a plus Knowledge of various systems such as ESF Pelican, PMG, Swift Alliance, IntelliTracs, AS400 would be an advantage. Self-motivated individual with good time management skills Team player and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Analytical and excellent attention to detail Innovative mindset to improve processes to minimize risk and increase efficiency 5 day work week which includes weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) and selected public holidays (details to be discussed during interviews) Working hours on weekdays 1st shift: 7.30am – 4.00pm / 8.30am – 5.00pm 2nd shift: 11am – 7.30pm / 11.30am – 8.00pm Working hours on weekends 7.30am – 4.00pm / 8.30am – 5.00pm Who We Are TD Securities is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
