## Description

1. JOB DETAILS: Position Title: Operations Manager Reports to: General Manager Department: Operations Hay Level: 12 2. JOB PURPOSE: Manage all operations activities to ensure safe and efficient operation through a team of site-based shift engineers and operators. Development of the short- and long-term operation strategy for the plant and the development of a capable shift engineer and operator team to support that strategy. Day to day plant operation, safely and efficiently, according to good utility practice, dispatch instructions, the company rules and procedures, OEM guidelines, legal, environmental, contractual and other requirements Key role in management of the O&M agreement with the Owner, the Contractual Services Agreement with Suez Services Saudi and the PPA with the Off taker. Ensure that the plant meets safety, availability, reliability, efficiency, generation and budget targets. Establish the appropriate procedures and computerized maintenance management processes as applicable to a prudent operation management, in particular the permit to work system. Coordinate operations activities with finance and accounting, administration, maintenance and HSE departments Define, manage and monitor the operations budget in line with the overall company budget. Responsible to ensure necessary procedures are in place and implemented for monitoring, recording and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) required by ECRA (Electricity & Cogeneration Regulatory Authority). Ensures internal audits are carried out for KPI reporting process and corrective actions are taken against any reported deviations. Coordinate the annual external audit of KPI process conducted by ECRA. In the absence of performance engineer, assume the duties of performance engineer related to ECRA related activities. 4. HEALTH & SAFETY: The Job Holder will work in a controlled hazardous environment . Work Levels and Conditions and Risks: Work Level 5 (OSHA scale 1 to 6): the tasks that he performs as part of their daily work activities represent risks and are controlled by means of procedures, supervision, safety devices and HSE Teams in such a way that its non-observance that could lead to a serious accident or even death. Color blindness test 5. JOB CONTEXT: Dhuruma O&M company Ltd operates a combined cycle power facility with 1729 MW of power capacity. The company has two shareholders: Kahrabel FZE, with Head Office in Dubai and Aljomaih Energy & Water Company Limited, with Head Office in Riyadh. Dhuruma O&M company Ltd performs services through an O&M agreement for the Owner of the power facility: Dhuruma Electricity Company. The project is a Greenfield IPP with a 20 year PPA with single off-taker (SEC) on BOO basis. The Job Holder will be based at Dhuruma power plant (PP11), 125 km West of Riyadh; The Job Holder leads the Operation Department in a safe and efficient manner. He is responsible for setting Departmental Objectives, delivering targets (quantity and quality) as well as execution of the company strategy. 6. PROBLEM SOLVING: The Job Holder is supposed to act and find solutions to (potential) problems within the Department; however he is responsible for keeping the General Manager informed. 7.
