## Description

AMXL Middle Mile is seeking an Area Manager to support daily operations at an AMXL Sort Center in Japan. The role focuses on executing smooth inbound, sorting, and outbound operations while achieving key operational metrics such as safety, quality, throughput, and on-time departures. The Area Manager will work alongside 3PL operations teams on the floor, communicate with 3PL partners to identify quality gaps, and support corrective actions to ensure compliance with operational standards. The role requires active collaboration with Fulfillment Centers, Delivery Stations, carrier partners, and internal teams to ensure shipments flow through the network efficiently. Key responsibilities include floor-level execution and supervision, labor and equipment utilization tracking, operational metrics monitoring, and contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce defects. The role will also support capacity planning activities and help maintain operational stability as the AMXL Middle Mile network continues to expand.
