The AI Strategy Team within Card Servicing Strategy is leading the development of AI experiences that will transform servicing for Capital One customers. As a Project Manager on this team at Capital One, you can achieve results you never thought possible by leading critical and strategic business projects. General Responsibilities: Work on large and small scale projects that have a direct impact on the company. Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation. Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments Identify ways to improve and streamline business process Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands Display strong consulting and collaboration skills This role is designated as a hybrid position. You are expected to adhere to Capital One's hybrid policy regarding required on-site presence at your designated office location. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience At least 3 years of Project Management or Process Management experience Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree 4+ years of Project Management or Process Management experience PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong problem solving and influencing skills At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900 for Principal Project Manager Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400 for Principal Project Manager New York, NY: $131,800 - $150,500 for Principal Project Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary
