JOB PURPOSE As a Principal Structural Engineer at AESG you will provide strategic technical leadership and oversight for major/complex building projects. The role sets technical direction, leads multidisciplinary coordination, acts as the senior technical authority for projects, and supports innovation, quality assurance, and business development. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and manage the structural engineering function for major projects from concept through completion. Define project technical strategies aligned with client objectives, regulations, and delivery requirements. Review and approve complex structural designs, calculations, and specifications. Act as the primary technical authority in client and project meetings. Provide expert mentorship to senior engineers, engineers, graduates, and BIM teams. Oversee quality assurance, technical audits, compliance checks, and design reviews. Drive innovation in structural engineering, including advanced analysis, BIM-enabled workflows, and parametric/digital tools. Manage relationships with clients, contractors, authorities, and key stakeholders. Support technical proposals, presentations, and pursuit activity for new work. Ensure strong HSE and quality culture across projects. QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. 12-15 years of relevant experience. Strong background in concrete, steel, and advanced structural analysis. Demonstrated experience delivering complex multidisciplinary projects. Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to growth initiatives. Chartered or equivalent professional registration preferred.
