Job Description: Job Title: Private Bank, Head of Operations United Kingdom (UK) Location: London Corporate Title: Vice President We are looking for a proactive Operations professional to support our growing UK business. The role will work closely with Relationship Managers, the India offshore centre, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution of operational activities in line with internal processes and policies. You will play a key role in supporting business initiatives, driving process improvements, and maintaining strong risk and control standards. Assign tasks, monitor team performance and conduct regular performance reviews Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements to improve turnaround times, minimize errors, and optimize the client experience Monitor and oversee the end-to-end processing of trades, cash movements, foreign exchange, and other client instructions Oversee daily reconciliations of cash, securities, and positions. Ensure robust control frameworks are in place to mitigate operational risk and ensure payments are processed accurately, timely and meet compliance requirements. Oversee preparation and delivery of regular operational reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, issues, and process improvements and mentor and develop Operations staff (offshore) Your skills and experience Understanding of UK banking compliance requirements (CASS experience is a plus) Proven experience in private banking, wealth management, or related operations roles An individual with team management experience; a team leader who can multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment, appreciate diversity and follow through assignments within tight schedules Degree majoring in Banking, Accountancy or Business Administration or related discipline Proficiency with core banking systems and operations platforms (e.g., Avaloq) is a plus Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs How we’ll support you A culture of continuous learning to aid progression A range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs We value diversity and as an equal opportunities’ employer, we make reasonable adjustments for those with a disability such as the provision of assistive equipment if required (e.g. screen readers, assistive hearing devices, adapted keyboards) About
