## Description

About WorkOS 🚀 WorkOS builds modern developer tools and APIs that make it easy for companies to become Enterprise Ready. Our platform powers authentication, identity, authorization, and other critical infrastructure that developers need to securely scale their products to large organizations. We recently raised a $100M Series C, valuing the company at $2B, led by Meritech and Sapphire with participation from Greenoaks, Craft, Abstract, and Audacious. WorkOS powers enterprise features for many of the fastest-growing AI companies, including OpenAI, Cursor, and Perplexity, Sierra, and Plaid. As AI reshapes software, WorkOS is at the frontier of Human and Agent Authentication, Identity, and Access Control helping companies answer a new critical question: who are your agents, and what are they allowed to do? Our fast-growing customer base includes hundreds of modern software companies building the next generation of enterprise-ready products. About the role 💭 We're looking for a frontend-leaning Product Engineer with strong product sense, judgment, and taste to help shape and build Passport . With Passport, accessing your work apps is as simple as unlocking your device, instead of battling one sign-in prompt after another. You’ll build the experiences that make that seamless, while giving administrators clear control over access. You'll help decide what gets built and carry it through to production. Working directly with customers, you'll turn complex identity and device workflows into clear employee and administrator experiences, with hands-on engineering across the stack. You’ll work in an AI-native engineering environment, using AI tools to prototype, build, and iterate while maintaining a high bar for product quality and technical correctness. Responsibilities ✔️ Work directly with customers, solutions engineering, and go-to-market teammates to understand their identity and device setups, identify friction, and prioritize focused improvements. Build onboarding and access-management experiences that help employees get started and administrators confidently manage access. Own features from implementation through release and iteration, making pragmatic technical tradeoffs that balance maintainability with momentum. Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and security engineers to make complex access workflows simple and secure. Help shape how AI agents access company tools, working with adjacent product teams to make connections and configuration understandable. Qualifications 🌟 5+ years of industry software development experience, including shipping user-facing products. Strong frontend engineering: accessible interfaces, well-structured application state, fast interactions, and thoughtful loading, empty, error, and recovery states. Full-stack capability: design useful APIs, reason about data models and queries, implement authorization behavior, and debug production issues. Your deepest expertise may be frontend; you can own work across layers and collaborate with specialists when needed. Strong product sense and judgment: understand customer needs, identify the right problems, and make thoughtful tradeoffs about priorities, scope, quality, and speed, including knowing what not to build. Strong product taste: you shape how a product works, not just how it looks. You can rethink complex workflows, choose sensible defaults, and make the right actions feel obvious. Clear communication and independent judgment through ambiguity, with the curiosity to learn unfamiliar systems and collaborate across disciplines. Bonus: Identity, authentication, authorization, or enterprise integrations, including SAML, OIDC, or SCIM. Bonus: Experience building desktop applications or device-management workflows. Bonus: B2B SaaS, developer tools, or employee and administrator products, especially experience building an early-stage product with its first customers. Benefits and Perks ( US Only) 💖 At WorkOS, we offer resources that emphasize
