About this role Your Team Digital Solutions is responsible for the strategy, governance, enablement, and operational management of the firm's enterprise collaboration and content-management technologies. Collaboration Solutions manages the platforms that help employees create, manage, share, discover, and collaborate on information securely. The portfolio includes Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Loop, Microsoft Power Platform, Box, NetDocuments, Atlassian Confluence, Diligent Boards, and other enterprise SaaS applications. The Product Specialist / Platform Engineer will join a global team of SaaS application owners that works with Engineering, Operations, Information Security, Cyber Diligence, Identity and Access Management, Compliance, Records Management, Legal, Enterprise Architecture, Service Management, Sourcing, vendors, and business stakeholders. Confluence is accessible firmwide, with the Aladdin organization serving as its primary business user community. Your Role and Impact As Product Specialist / Platform Engineer for Atlassian Confluence Cloud, you will combine product ownership with hands-on platform engineering. You will translate stakeholder and operational requirements into secure, supportable platform solutions while directly configuring, administering, testing, and troubleshooting the service. Valiantys is managing the migration from Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud; you will partner through knowledge transfer, validation, stabilization, and the transition to Digital Workplace ownership. ROLE BOUNDARY This is not a coordination-only Product Specialist role and not a narrowly scoped engineering role. The individual helps drive the connection between stakeholder needs and hands-on platform execution, including requirements, backlog, configuration, administration, testing, troubleshooting, Marketplace apps, governance, and operational readiness. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is an enterprise Confluence Cloud SME who is equally comfortable leading product conversations and working directly in the administrative console. This person understands permissions, groups, identity integrations, Marketplace apps, tenant configuration, migration validation, troubleshooting, support readiness, and governance. They can move from a stakeholder requirement to a practical configuration, document the decision, test the outcome, and support the service in production. Key Responsibilities Product and Service Ownership · Serve as the Digital Workplace Product Specialist and technical SME for Atlassian Confluence Cloud. · Gather business, user, support, and control requirements and translate them into prioritized platform solutions. · Manage backlog priorities, enhancement requests, risks, dependencies, roadmap inputs, and vendor follow-ups. · Partner with Aladdin stakeholders and other firmwide users to improve usability, supportability, governance, and service value. · Collaborate with internal teams to define Day 2 operating processes, service measures, ownership boundaries, and continuous-improvement priorities. Platform Engineering and Configuration · Configure and administer Confluence Cloud spaces, permissions, groups, roles, workflows, security settings, and tenant-level controls. · Own hands-on configuration across Atlassian Administration, Confluence Cloud, Atlassian Guard, SSO, SAML, SCIM, and Microsoft Entra ID integrations. · Evaluate, configure, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot Atlassian Marketplace apps and third-party integrations. · Perform root-cause analysis, testing, remediation, and vendor escalation for platform, access, integration, and configuration issues. · Maintain technical standards, configuration baselines, runbooks, support procedures, knowledge articles, and operational evidence. Cloud Migration and Operational Transition · Partner with Valiantys and the migration team on knowledge transfer, technical validation, user acceptance
