ABOUT THE JOB The Manufacturing Team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware, including static equipment, moving ground equipment, and flight vehicles. In this position, you will own large parts of the end-to-end production KPI tracking - enhancing transparency and generating actional reports to support strategic and tactical decision making. You’ll support increasing efficiencies throughout our end-to-end processes, all with a focus on introducing scale and resiliency into our growing people and tools footprint. There will be a variety of projects that can be taken on, and there is always an opportunity to dive deep or just solely “project manage” something. Don’t hesitate to take charge on a solution if no other team member or project stakeholder is owning a decision or suggesting a path forward. High ownership individuals thrive on this team and have big opportunities to accelerate within the organization Systems and Processes Improvement Develop a deep technical understanding of how our manufacturing engineering enterprise systems (ERP, MRP, PLM etc.) function Leverage system feedback from all production pillars and formulate an extensive feature and system roadmap Analyze best practices across all cross functional teams (inclusive of Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Material Management & Procurement) and develop ways to standardize and implement end to end processes across all workstreams Assist in the documentation and standardization of business procedures and reporting protocols across production Be comfortable with the production life cycle and how parts flow through a factory both physically and systematically Serve as the liaison between the Production Technology organization and the Corporate Technology organization Production Technology is home to a highly astute group of individuals who own the end-to-end production process and its connection to Anduril’s enterprise systems platform. They translate the needs of production end users into clear business requirements so that what Corporate Technology (software platform team) can build what the operation needs.
