## Description

Project Management Specialist (Project Planner Scheduler) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist ( Associate or Mid-Level) (Level 2 or 3) supporting the B-52J IP&S Program in Oklahoma City, OK . Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities. Position Responsibilities: Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives. Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project. Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers. Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills Experience in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, program management, or project management role Experience in using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, or a similar tool Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s Degree or higher 1+ year of experience using Open Plan Professional (OPP) 1+ year of experience have managing EVM metrics Level 2 : 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Level 3 : 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Conflict of interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Travel: Some travel may be required up to 10% of the time. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
