You will join our Cloud Engineering team, where Python is the glue between cloud platforms, delivery pipelines and data workloads. Check out some of our ongoing projects: At a major retailer , Orange Business ensures the seamless operation and evolution of the Data Platform, managing both analytical and operational data flows with a focus on reliability and performance. We handle diverse workloads, including batch and stream processing. By processing everyday terabytes of data that feed dashboards and web APIs, we empower Carrefour to leverage data-driven insights and support their business growth. At a big Pharma International Company , Orange Business migrated a Drug Discovery Data Platform hosted on-premises from a Hadoop stack to Azure. During the migration, we improved various data flows to reduce processing time, implemented proactive data quality checks, and optimized the CI/CD pipelines. Our efforts resulted in a more efficient and reliable platform, allowing scientists to quickly and safely assess the potential of tested molecules for new drugs development. For a Belgian public-sector data programme , Orange Business created a data platform and a unified set of tools for all public sector to conduct data projects, with a focus on Kubernetes and DevOps processes to enable self-service and standardization. What You’ll Do: All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong Python skills. You will design, implement and manage Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will build the Python tooling that ties them together, to support our client’s software development lifecycle. Designing, deployment, and management of Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS or GCP). Developing Python automation and internal tools (CLI utilities, APIs, serverless functions, pipeline tasks) that make infrastructure self-service and repeatable. Building CI/CD pipelines for Python applications: dependency management, automated testing, packaging and container images. Monitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and security of our Cloud infrastructure and applications. Collaborating with developers and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of software products. Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including infrastructure diagrams, system configurations, and operating procedures. Continuously improving the efficiency and reliability of our infrastructure and development processes, applying software engineering practices (code review, testing, version control) to infrastructure code.
