Job Ref ID: JR0088417 YOUR MISSION Quick Commerce is one of the fastest growing channels in e-commerce, and Glovo is emerging as the lead player in many of the markets in which it operates. You will help set the direction and priorities of Q-Commerce so it can one day be bigger than our food business. Over the next 12-18 months, you will own how we ride that growth while keeping the business model sustainable and profitable. THE JOURNEY Quickly build a deep understanding of Glovo’s economic model and the Q-Commerce P&L, partnering with central finance. Identify profitability improvement opportunities and drive their implementation across countries, working with QC Commercial and Operations. Be the primary finance and strategy contact for local stakeholders, handling ad hoc requests and connecting teams with the right resources. Own assigned projects end to end, such as the masterplan or BP process, profitability plans for struggling countries, or 5-year planning for QC, and present them to senior management. Manage the Business Plan and reforecast process. Take ownership of strategic analysis such as competitor benchmarking and the revamp of how Glovo treats partner ads. Build strong partnerships across the organization, particularly with country leadership and central finance. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE Must have: Strong analytical abilities Understanding of accounting and corporate finance Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills A detail-oriented way of working combined with a big-picture mindset, given the combined finance and strategy role An interest in commercial elements of the Glovo Q-Commerce business and developing a fast-growing vertical Nice to have: Strategy consulting experience Audit, accounting or FP&A experience Commercial experience in e-commerce At Glovo, your success is defined by both results and behaviors.
