## Description

We are currently delivering a major Billing Transformation Programme, introducing a new enterprise billing platform to replace our existing system. Alongside this transformation, we must continue to support and maintain our current platform, ensuring continuity and accuracy while carefully managing complex and business-critical data, processes, and structures. This creates a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact programme, helping to protect and evolve our billing capability while transitioning to a modern, future-ready solution. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Analyst to join DP World in Southampton and support the successful delivery of the Billing Transformation Programme. This role plays a key part in assuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of solutions delivered through the programme, ensuring system functionality, integrations, data migration activities, automation testing, and performance validation activities are thoroughly tested and meet both business and technical requirements. You’ll work closely with the QA Lead, business SMEs, development teams, and wider project stakeholders to execute testing activities, validate data, manage defects, and support quality assurance processes throughout the software development lifecycle. You will also contribute to automation and non-functional testing activities, helping to improve testing efficiency, system reliability, and overall programme quality. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively across both technical and business teams. You’ll have the opportunity to support the delivery of a critical transformation programme while helping to establish quality standards and testing best practices across the project. This position is ideal for someone with experience in software testing, quality assurance, automation testing, or system validation who enjoys working in fast-paced transformation environments and wants to contribute directly to the successful delivery of high-quality technology solutions and business processes. Location: Southampton Contract: 2 Year FTC How you will contribute • Execute test cases across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and other programme testing activities. • Support validation of end-to-end business processes, integrations, and system functionality. • Record, maintain, and document test results accurately and consistently. • Perform data validation and reconciliation between legacy and new systems. • Support verification of billing outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Identify discrepancies, risks, and issues, escalating where appropriate. • Log, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle. • Ensure defects are clearly documented to support timely resolution. • Support retesting and validation of defect fixes. • Assist with the preparation of test data, scenarios, and test scripts. • Support test environment setup, readiness activities, and maintenance of test artefacts. • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts where appropriate to improve test efficiency and regression coverage. • Identify suitable opportunities for test automation and support enhancement of automation frameworks. • Support planning, execution, and analysis of performance, load, stress, and volume testing activities when required. • Monitor and report on performance testing outcomes, highlighting bottlenecks and scalability risks. • Guide and support business SMEs during UAT execution. • Assist in coordinating testing activities across project teams where required. • Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and outcomes. • Maintain QA documentation, reports, and testing records. • Contribute to QA governance, testing standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
