## Description

Quality Engineer (Associate or Experienced) Company: Argon ST Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has exciting opportunities for Quality Engineers (Associate or Experienced) to join our dynamic team in Smithfield, PA! This position’s primary duties will be supporting the B-52 Certified Engine Replacement Program performing First Article Inspection (FAI), Corrective Actions, Non-Conformance Review (NCR) disposition, review/approving/interpreting engineering drawing requirements, approving work instructions, and interfacing with customers and stakeholders. Position Responsibilities: Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved Works under general supervision This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 1+ year of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) 1+ year of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing 1+ year of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) 1+ year of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Level 3: 3 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) 3+ years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing 3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods 3+ years of experience working with Non-conformance (NCR) processes 3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest assessment process Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .
