The Recruitment Consultant apprenticeship will appeal to individuals who possess an entrepreneurial outlook and a genuine passion for candidate talent search and engagement. As a Recruitment Consultant apprentice, you'll learn the full craft of recruitment - how to source, screen, and interview candidates effectively, build strong relationships with both job seekers and hiring managers, and read the job market to make successful placements. You'll also develop skills that many don't associate with recruitment: sales and negotiation to match candidates to the right opportunities, the legal and ethical foundations that keep hiring fair and compliant, and the data and recruitment-software skills that keep the whole process running smoothly. A day in the life can involve: - Identifying and contacting potential job candidates - Scheduling and conducting candidate interviews and assessments - Liaising with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs - Matching candidates to suitable job openings - Guiding and advising candidates throughout the recruitment process - Maintaining accurate candidate records and managing databases - Keeping up to date with industry trends and job-market developments - Maintaining and analysing hiring data points to spot trends We're looking for someone with a natural curiosity about recruitment who's eager to understand the industry and play a pivotal role in talent acquisition. You'll build your skills over a 36-month period, starting in September, developing both personally and professionally.
