What you'll do You will play a crucial role in overseeing fleet compliance, uptime, and costs across multiple sites, both in-house and with third-party logistics providers. Your responsibilities will include investigating fleet incidents, ensuring root cause analysis is conducted, managing SLAs with external suppliers, and monitoring fleet and Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) uptime to ensure compliance with operational standards. Additionally, you will lead engineering projects, develop cost-effective solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering standards and efficiency improvements within the organisation. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining safe and efficient fleet operations while driving sustainable practises and compliance with legislative requirements. Who you are You are a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of fleet, Mechanical Handling Equipment, and compliance legislation, coupled with significant experience in logistics operations and engineering practises. Your sharp commercial focus, ability to identify cost savings and efficiencies, and proven track record in managing end-to-end projects demonstrate your capability to drive fleet and mechanical handling equipment operations to meet safety, legal, and operational standards.
