## Description

Job Details: Job Description: The Stress Test and Reliability Laboratory organization is looking for a dynamic, hands-on engineer to join their environmental stress tool engineering team in Chandler, AZ. The lab engineering team develops and maintains a fleet of equipment which is used to evaluate Intel's silicon, package, and assembly technologies under simulated field use including heat, humidity, temperature change, and dynamic stresses such as shock and vibration. This role will focus on supporting our dynamics stress capability. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing mechanical reliability and environmental stress testing programs for semiconductor devices, boards, and assemblies. The role requires expertise in shock, vibration, and dynamic mechanical loading methodologies with a strong emphasis on industry-standard test requirements and a deep knowledge of the physics of failure. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Develop, plan, and execute dynamic stress tests, including shock, vibration, and other test methods in compliance with JEDEC, IPC, and/or customer requirements Develop test fixtures, instrumentation strategies, and data acquisition systems to support mechanical reliability evaluations. Working with the operations team, perform testing on devices Analyze test data using statistical and engineering methods to identify failure modes, performance limits, and reliability risks. Correlate test data to mechanical models to validate and improve simulation results Generate detailed test plans, procedures, reports, and qualification documentation. Drive continuous improvement of laboratory capabilities, test automation, and best practices for dynamic stress testing. Ensure laboratory operations comply with applicable safety, quality, and calibration requirements. Provide technical guidance regarding shock and vibration requirements throughout the product development lifecycle. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
