Key job responsibilities Work backwards from the customer, identifying inputs to grow Amazon's most strategic brands and improve their performance within a retail category. Support vendor managers in providing a suite of services designed to help brands succeed, collaborating with cross-functional teams including in-stock and marketing. Develop analytical and problem-solving skills by collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to drive category performance. Build an understanding of customer pain points, requirements, and potential value across retail, advertising, and merchant services. Identify target accounts using market data and industry intelligence to support business growth. Identify opportunities to improve products, services, processes, systems, and tools across the business. Work with different parts of the Amazon business to implement improvement projects, including category teams, product teams, and technical support teams. A day in the life Every day is a little different as a Retail Vendor Manager Working Student. Working alongside a vendor manager, you'll learn how Amazon handles its e-commerce retail business across product categories — from books to fashion, electronics to grocery, and everything in between. You might spend your morning analysing category performance data and identifying growth opportunities for strategic brands, then spend your afternoon working with marketing or in-stock teams to implement an improvement project that enhances the customer shopping experience.
