Join us and help run what runs the world. This position reports to: Sales Excellence Leader __ As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in Cary, North Carolina. You will be mainly accountable for: Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines. Leveraging insights about customer needs and ABB’s offerings to identify optimal solutions for clients, leading to project results that meet customer expectations. Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts. Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills. Role-specific competencies: The intern will report to Data Analytics Leader in the Sales Excellence team, which is responsible for empowering the commercial organization, including account managers and sales leaders with data analytics and insights which position ABB to win business. Creating PowerBI reports which clearly identify call to action and prioritize the user experience. Partnering with business stakeholders, seeking to clearly understand their objectives. Then using your own curiosity, critical thinking, and experience in data design, translate those objectives to actionable reporting. In your interactions with the commercial organization, identifying use cases to leverage data management tools to streamline repeatable tasks, and to proactively drive insights to the sales team in a relatable manner. An ideal candidate would be familiar with tools including but not limited to: PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, and Excel. Qualifications for the role: Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in Engineering, Computer Science or Relevant (technical background required) in the United States. Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future. Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions. Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality. Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress. Why ABB?
