Line of Business: Technology Solutions Job Description: The Salesforce Developer II performs activities developing components of solutions with a focus on analytics, support, testing, and proof of concepts aligned to business and technology objectives. Provides a broad range of system solutions development to business problems through the development and programming of applications / systems. May also provide research, installation, maintenance, configuration, administration and/or provisioning of systems/applications. Depth & Scope: Advanced knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues Performs complex to difficult technical tasks independently Advanced knowledge of technology, tools, various programming languages, processes, and procedures Develops program specifications; adapts, integrates, codes, tests and debugs programs; and is responsible for executing Uses existing procedures to solve routine problems; makes limited exceptions Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Technical Certificate Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering) 3-5 years relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field 3+ years relevant experience working as a developer in Salesforce 2+ years relevant experience with HTML, JavaScript, XML, APEX, Visualforce 3+ years of experience configuring Salesforce using workflows, validation rules, Lightning Flow, roles & profiles, reports and dashboards at a large organization 3+ years of database experience writing queries in SOQL, working with Data Loader, Workbench and ETL tools to perform bulk data updates Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum Experience with Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Experience with standard/custom object creation, validation rules, etc. Experience in back-end development of Salesforce including but not limited to design of data models, a strong knowledge of SOQL, and usage of web technologies.
