## Description

We are seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the One EU Listing initiative, a transformative program that fundamentally redefines how product selection enters the European catalog. Today, a single item exists as up to 10 fragmented entities across EU marketplaces. One EU Listing inverts this model: one EU ASIN with 10 language variants, born as an EU-wide entity from inception and available across all eligible marketplaces from Day 1, with no expansion step required. This role will drive the end-to-end strategy and execution for One EU Listing program, and the SDM III will build Amazon first experience where sellers provide their catalog in one language and our platform automatically fans out locale-appropriate listings across EU10 simultaneously. This will involve building and scaling an architecture capable of providing real time processing of multi-country listing requests, building bespoke capabilities like multi-countries attribute modeling, processing, image generation, real time compliance checks and resolution, language translation etc. All of this will be built with GenAI as the core pillar, providing large scale processing and automation of seller's inputs, with the north star goal of having 1 click EU wide listings workflows. The SDM III will play the role of a technology leader, coordinating across multiple engineering teams, product managers, compliance, and seller experience stakeholders to eliminate cross-listing friction and unlock the massive EU selection opportunity, with 90% of Buyable ASINs being Pan-EU eligible, the opportunity is significant, yet only 15-50% of the 25MM available ASINs exist across EU5/EU10 today. Basic qualifications - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit https://amazon.jobs/content/en/how-we-hire/accommodations for more information.
