The Senior Associate, FX Operational Support is responsible for ensuring the stable and efficient operation of LSEG’s FX trading platforms across the global trading lifecycle. The role focuses on proactive monitoring, pre-market readiness, and early identification of issues to ensure platforms are fully operational ahead of each regional market open. Location : LSEG Technology, Malabe Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive system validations, identifying and proactively flagging issues, and providing clear, accurate, and timely incident reporting and communication to relevant technology and support teams for resolution. The role also involves coordinating improvements to Operational Support checks, including updates, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and consistency. The Senior Associate works closely with Technology, Product, and Client Services teams to ensure effective stakeholder communication and to support continuous improvements in system performance, resilience, and overall service quality. Team Description The FX Operational Support team is a key function within LSEG, operating from Colombo, Sri Lanka, and Manila, Philippines. As part of FX Service Delivery, the team is structured into two core areas: RUN and Change Engineering. The team is responsible for ensuring the continuous and stable operation of FX systems through a combination of proactive monitoring and reactive problem management. Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive system validations, managing incidents, and driving improvements to enhance platform resilience. The team also conducts critical pre-market checks across a range of markets, including admissions, client activities, technical processes, systems, and front-end platforms to ensure readiness ahead of market open. Operating on a 24/5 global coverage model, the team plays a vital role in maintaining operational stability and delivering a reliable, high-quality service experience to clients. Department Description FX Service Delivery is responsible for ensuring the reliable, efficient, and high-quality delivery of FX trading services across the global marketplace. The department brings together Market Operations Services, Business Architecture, Client Technology Services, and Operational Support to support the full FX trade lifecycle. The function focuses on maintaining operational stability, enabling seamless client connectivity, and driving continuous improvement across platforms and workflows. By combining operational expertise, technical capabilities, and strategic change management, FX Service Delivery plays a key role in supporting clients, meeting regulatory expectations, and enhancing the overall performance of LSEG’s FX ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Perform a range of proactive and confirmatory checks across multiple markets, systems, and tools to ensure platforms are healthy and fully prepared for the region open Maintain, enhance, and expand existing operational checks to ensure continued effectiveness and coverage Develop, review, and maintain processes, procedures, documentation, RACIs, and escalation frameworks Take ownership of issues identified through Operational Support checks, ensuring timely escalation and coordination with relevant support teams and management Provide clear, accurate, and timely updates to stakeholders on system health at defined checkpoints Drive the introduction of new positive affirmation checks on a regular basis to strengthen operational assurance Produce clear and accurate procedures for newly introduced checks and processes Coordinate with automation teams to onboard relevant checks and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to team members Act as a senior point of guidance within the team, supporting task ownership, progress tracking, and overall team
