This role will be responsible for the design and development of a diverse set of learning materials to support our Retail Banking Teams including Bank Operations, Bank Voice, and Customer Protection. This individual will partner closely with Learning Consultants, Principal Designers, and business partners to translate business intent into engaging learning materials, with a focus (though not exclusively) on digital-first learning methods. This individual will help analyze learning needs, design and develop blended learning solutions from raw materials, and help measure and report on learning effectiveness. They will create facilitator-led training materials, script videos, develop e-Learning courses, structure simulations, and much more. We are focused on delivering memorable, engaging, learning experiences to our associates that drive performance and achieve business objectives by leveraging integrated learning throughout their career. As a Senior Associate learning designer, you will partner with Principal Designers, SMEs, Project Managers, Facilitators, and Learning Consultants to design and develop engaging learning experiences. In this highly collaborative role, you will support the end-to-end design process and help drive key performance indicators. Our Ideal Candidate: You have a strong understanding of adult learning theory and evidence-based learning practices, with a passion for translating those principles into modern learning You take pride in designing the best learning experience for a specific learning need and have experience with course authoring tools You know how to work creatively with business needs & constraints, using good judgment to efficiently deliver high-quality learning solutions You value creating learning experiences that are both effective and engaging, solving business needs while delighting and engaging the learner You possess excellent organizational skills and are able to effectively prioritize your time to successfully manage multiple projects with different timelines Key Responsibilities: Design and develop content for specific programs and stand-alone offerings that support the learning & performance needs of associates in working in Bank Operations, Bank Voice, and Customer Protection Support the needs analysis process by identifying the additional context that will help to ensure successful transfer of skills to the job Recommend effective format/modalities that create an optimal learning experience while demonstrating an understanding of adult learning principles Work directly with SMEs to design and develop engaging learning materials and performance support tools (including self-study, classroom, e-Learning, etc.) based on industry design standards for a given modality (includes traditional, web, and mobile design) Demonstrate an aptitude for, knowledge of, and agility with new learning technologies Partner with project team members to enable clarity of goal; conduct on-going reviews to ensure outcome is on track to meet client needs Collaborate with other Instructional Designers and Learning Consultants on the team to support the ADDIE process, as appropriate Take personal responsibility for tasks and follow-through to completion with a high degree of independence while collaborating with the broader team Location: This role is designated as a hybrid position.
