If you answered yes to all of these questions, then product management at Capital One may be a fit for you About the Team The Enterprise Core Platform team is on a mission to build real-time, intelligent processing critical to manage accounts and transactions for Capital One’s Card line of business. Our team is at the epicenter of Card Growth—delivering critical capabilities for major card network integrations (e.g., Discover), driving system updates, and building an ultra-resilient, highly available processing engine. We are seeking a Senior Associate PM with strong instincts for both business strategy and technology architecture. In this role, you will drive discovery and delivery of critical capabilities across our Collections, Fraud, Disputes, and Credit Bureau product lines - including our work toward feature parity as we integrate Discover onto our platform. Your work directly protects customer experiences and enables business value for Capital One’s Card business by connecting business problems or opportunities to technical solutions. In this role, you’ll learn the essentials of being a product manager, and we’ll invest in you to grow in four key areas: Human Centered You’ll collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria, identifying and elevating any need for additional research to define future feature design Business Focused Demonstrating a growth mindset, you’ll effectively use hypothesis-driven assessment of data to ensure your product or feature delivers on real business needs You’ll own and prioritize feature development roadmaps, ensuring all necessary processes and procedures are followed to manage risk You’ll assist in developing pillar strategic direction, balancing near term delivery against long term objectives Technology Driven You'll run structured discovery, collaborating with designers, technologists, data scientists, and subject-matter experts to identify opportunities and build cutting-edge solutions that help customers You'll deliver well-managed product platforms by staying ahead of technology trends and evolving architecture strategy You’ll use approved AI tools to accelerate discovery and overall PM effectiveness Integrated Problem Solving You’ll challenge problem statements, test assumptions, and evaluate key risks with data You’ll work with SMEs to understand risks and develop solutions Transformational Leadership By actively participating in horizontal forums, you’ll harness a network of trusted relationships You’ll articulate a succinct product roadmap to deliver business value and share with with stakeholders, elevating your team’s results and becoming a product matter expert We want you if you are: Intellectually Curious.
