Job Summary: PwC Channel Islands is expanding a real estate centre of excellence of Chartered Surveyors, RICS Registered Valuers and real estate industry specialists, who, working in conjunction with our network of PwC member firms, support a wide range of local and international clients on a range of real estate matters. Our clients include property companies, institutional investors and real estate fund managers, government offices, private equity houses and family offices. The breadth and diversity of our clients' real estate exposure, across sectors, geographies and investment strategies, in an ever-changing market environment, requires us to be agile, commercially minded and forward looking as we help them navigate complexity and make informed decisions. High-quality real estate valuation advice is at the forefront of critical role in supporting informed decision making by management teams, boards and investors, helping them understand, create, sustain, realise and protect value, while meeting the highest standards of risk management and quality. We are looking to recruit a newly RICS qualified / part qualified real estate valuer or alternatively qualified / part qualified real estate industry specialist to join our growing team, contributing to the growth of our real estate centre of excellence. The role will provide you with an opportunity to work as part of our experienced Real Estate Value Advisory team on a range of client engagements and with a number of other teams. Alongside this, we would expect that a significant proportion of your time will be dedicated to supporting our Audit practice, critically assessing valuation methodologies and assumptions as part of the audit of our clients’ financial statements. Responsibilities: You will be active across all areas of our work, working closely with clients, investors, their advisers and our Audit teams to deliver high-quality valuation assurance and advisory services.
