Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine Position Summary The MSL Head leads a national field medical team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and Field Directors (FDs) who provide scientific, clinical, research, and educational support on current and future Johnson & Johnson Cardiovascular products to health care professionals (HCPs) and internal partners, ensuring customer‑centric, insight‑driven, and compliant scientific engagement. The MSL Head develops and implements the vision for a fast-growing field organization, while also collaborating closely across key internal and external stakeholders. They lead, coach, and develop FDs and MSLs using a skills framework, ongoing feedback, and development assessments, while removing barriers and coordinating field activities to maximize appropriate HCP access and effective scientific engagement. The MSL Head leads engagement strategies for national, regional, and local opinion leaders and community practitioners, ensuring timely, impactful, and compliant data communication. They build a qualified, diverse organization by supporting FDs in recruiting and hiring, and retain talent through mentorship and career coaching. They also provide oversight for FDs who assure compliant oversight of all field activities, model ethical behavior, and foster a culture of accountability and integrity. Partnering with the Therapeutic Area Lead, GCO, R&D, and Global Medical, they align field strategies with research and collaboration priorities. They also advance an analytics-driven approach to field insights, applying AI-enabled tools to inform risk assessment, strategic opportunities, and enterprise decisions. As a member of the Milvexian leadership team, the MSL Head reports directly into the VP of US Milvexian Medical Affairs, and contributes to Medical Affairs strategies, future compound development plans, priorities, timelines, budget, and staffing models. They manage external alliance partnerships as necessary within legal, privacy, and compliance guardrails, and build strong compliant internal collaboration with multiple stakeholders (e.g., Therapeutic Area Leads, Sales, Marketing, KAM, Training, TLL leaders) to drive alignment and shared therapeutic goals.
