ABOUT THE TEAM The Global Defense (GD) team is responsible for establishing and expanding Anduril's international business, developing and delivering the products and technology that address the unique security challenges faced by America's Allies and partners. The team operates across every major theater, pairing deep regional expertise with a sophisticated command of foreign military sales, trade, and compliance frameworks. GD team members serve as the bridge between international customers and the broader Anduril enterprise; they translate partner-nation requirements and perspectives back to Anduril's Business Lines, while serving as Anduril's ambassadors and partners abroad. They shape and capture new opportunities by leveraging Anduril's strengths in innovation, modern warfighting, agile foreign sales strategies, and rigorous export compliance. The team's work spans the full lifecycle of international engagement: global strategy and market analysis; international business development and deal navigation; partnerships and representation; trade, export control, and Tech Security & Foreign Disclosure (TSFD); and the global operations, security, and in-country presence required to execute. The Senior Director, Taiwan Business Development is Anduril's senior leader for the Taiwan market. You will own the Taiwan business end to end, from customer relationships and capture to partnerships and delivery coordination, acting as the in-market head for Anduril's work in Taiwan. WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead our Taiwan growth efforts: Set and execute Anduril's Taiwan growth strategy, owning pipeline, revenue targets, and the long-term growth plan in partnership with INDOPACOM leadership. Own the customer relationship. Serve as Anduril's senior representative to the Ministry of National Defense, the armed services, and relevant agencies, positioning Anduril early on priority requirements. Navigate FMS and direct commercial sales pathways. Work with Trade Compliance, Technology Security & Foreign Disclosure, and US government stakeholders (including AIT and DSCA) to structure and advance opportunities across FMS and DCS channels. Build partnerships and localization. Develop teaming and industrial partnerships with Taiwan industry to support local production, sustainment, and resilience. Inform product development. Translate Taiwan's operational requirements back to Business Lines and engineering, and ensure delivery teams have the context to succeed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 15+ years of industry, government, or military experience, including senior business development or program leadership in the Taiwan defense market Deep knowledge of Taiwan defense acquisition and the US-Taiwan FMS and DCS process Established senior network across Taiwan's defense establishment Fluency in Mandarin and English Ability to travel 30-40% ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Experience leading or building an in-market team Experience with complex systems involving hardware and software Familiarity with enterprise AI and autonomous systems a plus Comfortable setting and achieving goals in a complex, ambiguous environment STEM degree a plus The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
