Job Description: Job Family Definition: Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls. Management Level Definition: Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Responsibilities: Supply Chain Finance Support: Providing day-to-day financial support to the EFR Supply Chain team, including analysis, issue resolution, and coordination with relevant stakeholders. Month-End Close: Performing monthly book-closing activities, ensuring that accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation are completed accurately and on time. Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular financial reports, supporting monthly internal reviews, and delivering ad hoc analyses to explain key movements, risks, and business performance. Balance Sheet Reviews: Supporting the preparation and execution of Balance Sheet Reviews (BSR), including account analysis, follow-up on open items, and coordination of remediation actions. P&L SOX Controls: Managing P&L SOX control activities, particularly those related to Standard Revision, Capitalized MOH, Excess and Obsolescence (E&O), Scrap, and Inventory Adjustments. This includes preparing control evidence, completing required analyses, documenting conclusions, and supporting timely review and sign-off. Aruba ECC Migration: Supporting the planned migration of Aruba processes to ECC Education and Experience Required: First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred.
