Deploy operating system images, install required tools, and support software. Monitor lab health and key operational metrics, restore unavailable systems, and help ensure reliable lab infrastructure. Investigate recurring issues, perform root cause analysis for system downtime, and partner with collaborators to implement corrective actions and automation improvements. Maintain lab safety, cleanliness, organization, and documentation standards. What we need to see: B.Tech or a diploma/degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience—with 4+ years of relevant experience. It also includes supporting servers that host applications and databases for software deployment. Demonstrable understanding of desktop and server environments including Windows OS and Linux distributions, along with foundational networking concepts. Strong problem-solving, communication, and multi-functional partnership skills. Ability to work independently, handle operational issues, and coordinate alongside collaborators to drive timely resolution. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience with hardware bring-up, debugging, and failure isolation for Local AI PCs and desktop systems, as well as servers supporting software deployment and data management. Familiarity with lab health monitoring, downtime analysis, and root cause investigation. Scripting or automation experience using Python, Bash, or similar tools. Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with minimal direction in prototype or fast-paced engineering
