Line of Business: Financial Crime Risk Management Job Description: The Financial Crimes Risk Management Monitoring and Testing team (FCRM M&T) at TD is a growing team focused on evaluating financial crime compliance controls, identifying regulatory risks, executing independent testing reviews, and validating remediation improvements that strengthen TD's financial crime compliance framework. Through risk-based engagements, the FCRM M&T team performs reviews, and adherence checks over key controls that mitigate the financial crime risk at TD. The Senior FCRM Testing Analyst executes independent testing of FCRM controls / systems for assigned businesses, and operational units across the Bank to evaluate the Design and Operating effectiveness of these controls in covering associated risk. This role is capable of independently executing and having responsibility for various activities (e.g., test plan development, executing test steps and issue identification) throughout the testing lifecycle within agreed timelines. Depth & Scope: Works Independently as a subject matter expert regarding assigned testing areas and objectives, including related regulatory requirements Develops testing documentation and results reporting in-line with testing requirements Understands the use of controls for managing financial crimes risk and applies this understanding to independently evaluate controls effectiveness and develop recommendations for enhancement Undertakes and completes a variety of projects and initiatives as part of the testing function Education & Experience: Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years experience Preferred Qualifications: Dedicated testing experience ideally in a FCRM or AML capacity Subject Matter Expert within FCRM knowledge Heavy critical thinking expectations ACAMs certification preferr ed Customer Accountabilities: Executes testing engagement work in accordance with established standards to achieve completion within targeted timelines Conducts skilled analytical research and analysis as part of the assigned testing objectives Works collaboratively with key partners throughout the testing engagement Presents objective and independent opinion on the adequacy of processes and controls in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements Executes follow-up of findings raised from testing reviews in accordance with established standards Provides subject matter expertise on FCRM controls and processes and/or input to projects/initiatives as a representative for area of the FCRM testing function Proactively identifies matters which require additional attention, further escalation, or review, and liaises with the appropriate groups to resolve Shareholder Accountabilities: Prioritizes and manages own workload to deliver quality results and meet assigned timelines Contributes to the analysis, due diligence, and implementation of initiatives within defined assignments Adheres to internal policies, standards and procedures, methodologies, and applicable regulatory requirements Understands the operations of the business unit / area being tested and to identify potential FCRM risks and apply
