Job Description: We are looking for Senior Financial Analyst to join our team! Responsibilities: o Provide complex, financial analysis for a financial function or a business. Specifically around project accounting in complex deals. o Provide technical and/or functional advice and guidance to business and team members. o Responsible for production of monthly financial reporting (P&L), highlighting key trends and variances. o Prepare monthly country(ies) forecast and provide budget variance analysis to management o Coordinate sub-region monthly forecast and present to Finance Management o Monitor variances between forecast and actual for A&PS projects with support from Customer Operations and Project Managers o Participate in the development of bottom-up operating budgets o Conduct financial reviews of business cases like deal analysis, T&Cs, identify non-standard positions and mitigate financial risk. o Ensure compliance of all financial transactions and activities with the company’s control procedure (RRC, NSP, ELCAF, etc.) o Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the business, and financial planning and accounting principles and concepts governed by U.S GAAP & AFM o Monitor balance sheet and reports on unbilled & accruals to minimize surprises in the Business P&L o Represent finance on cross- functional teams o Establish and maintain relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making. o Support policy and process improvement, identifies and drives opportunities. o Identify issues, propose and drive solutions. Education and Experience Required: First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred. Typically 10+ years of experience as a financial analyst. Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions. Knowledge and Skills: Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis. Excellent analytical skills. Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel). Superior communication and influencing skills. Superior teamwork skills Excellent business acumen. Excellent project management skills.
