What You'll Do - Manage end-to-end accounting activities across multiple project companies, corporate entities, and holding companies. - Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes with accuracy and on time. - Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with Ind AS, the Companies Act, and ENGIE Group requirements. - Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits, acting as the primary contact for auditors and resolving matters efficiently. - Maintain a strong internal control environment and implement accounting policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks. - Provide technical accounting guidance on Ind AS, IFRS, and complex transactions including acquisitions, leases, and revenue recognition. - Support Finance transformation through process standardization, ERP improvements, and automation initiatives. What You Bring - Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, reporting, and financial controls. - At least 4 to 5 years in a managerial role with direct team leadership, audit ownership, and stakeholder management. - Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, consolidation, and Indian regulatory requirements including GST, TDS, and corporate tax. - Experience in a multi-entity environment, ideally in renewable energy, infrastructure, or another asset-intensive sector. - Prior exposure to a Big Four audit firm or a large multinational is preferred. - Ability to interpret contracts and assess their accounting and financial reporting implications. - Additional qualifications in IFRS, SAP Hana, or data analytics are a distinct advantage.
