ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a senior international defence sales and business development professional who can sell Precision-Guided Munitions (PGMs), build relationships with aircraft/UAV manufacturers, and close complex international defence deals. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, understands weapon systems, and has a proven track record of winning government or defence contracts in international markets. RESPONSIBILITIES Own and grow international order intake for all EDGE Precision Guided Munitions (PGM) solutions, including AL TARIQ, P2/P3 and HALCON. Act as the key interface between EDGE as a PGM producer and platform OEMs such as BAYKAR and CATIC, enabling integration of EDGE PGM solutions onto partner platforms. Qualify PGM opportunities and drive pursuits through to signature, supported technically by the Technical Programme Manager, PGM. Build and grow EDGE’s international PGM footprint across priority markets and platform OEM relationships. Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data for all PGM pursuits in CRM. Lead customer and platform OEM engagements, positioning EDGE PGM capability against competing solutions. Coordinate with the Technical Programme Manager, PGM, and relevant EDGE PGM producing entities to shape technically sound offers. Represent EDGE Group at bilateral meetings, defence exhibitions and government-to-government engagements relevant to PGM. Support market entry and expansion initiatives for priority PGM export territories, in coordination with the Director, International Sales. Detailed record keeping, for accountability and posterity; logging all steps in the pursuit process. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, International Relations or related discipline. MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification an advantage. Fluent in English; additional languages relevant to key markets an advantage. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 10+ years in international sales or business development, ideally with precision guided munitions, missiles or complex weapon systems in aerospace or defence. Proven experience selling to or working with platform OEMs, such as UAV, aircraft or naval platform manufacturers, on weapon integration. Demonstrated track record of closing government or defence sales in international markets. Experience qualifying and progressing complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits through to signature. Established relationships within assigned or comparable PGM and weapons markets.
