## Description

We are looking for an Senior MI Analyst to lead our data and reporting function within Supply & Energy Management. You will shape how the business understands itself and make data work for people who need it most. This is a 15 month Fixed Term Contract role to cover Maternity leave. Summary of what you will do Lead and develop a team of two MI Analysts, supporting their growth and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and MI models using Power BI and SQL Partner with Business Development, Operations, and Finance to translate data needs into meaningful insights Maintain data integrity across systems by developing robust data audits and communicating findings clearly Produce accurate regulatory reports on time, meeting all relevant data requirements Drive continuous improvement in MI processes, tools, and ways of working Manage stakeholder expectations and act as the central point of contact for MI deliverables across the business What you will bring to the role Proven experience in an analytical or MI role, with a strong command of SQL and relational databases Hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI Desktop or a comparable reporting platform A degree-level qualification or equivalent, with solid numeracy and analytical capability Previous experience leading or mentoring a team, with the confidence to motivate others Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences A practical, detail-oriented approach to problem solving under pressure Commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively Location This role is based at our Leeds office.
