## Description

Senior P-8 Maintenance Controller - Canada Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Senior Level Maintenance Controller to support the P-8A Site Activation Support Team starting at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Florida and then moving to support the P-8A Poseidon at Canadian Forces Base Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada . This is a Long-Term Assignment to Canada after initial familiarization training and visa processing. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements. Position Responsibilities to include (but are not limited to): Lead, plan, organize and control the maintenance and repairs of aircraft, aircraft components and support equipment Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance schedules Coordinate and monitor materials, tools, aircraft components and support equipment requisitioning, receipt, and allocation Document and disposition aircraft, components and support equipment maintenance data Incumbent shall supervise and coordinate maintenance efforts on assigned shift Serve as subject matter expert to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on matters pertaining to polices, plans and objectives Candidate must have good communication skills both orally and written Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Controller Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams and/or leading initiatives Minimum 5 years of experience with commercial derivative or military aircraft maintenance experience Minimum 5 years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g. blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design) At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Currently hold and able to maintain a “Safe for Flight” certification is highly desired Ex-Pat Information: Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate. Relocation: Relocation benefits will be provided only to the international assignment.
